No, nothing to install. Evokly runs straight in the web browser on phones, tablets and computers. Your guests simply scan the QR code and can start adding their photos and videos right away.

The free Discover plan allows up to 100 photos per event. Paid plans (Event, Pro, Enterprise) give unlimited photos per event. Photos are kept at original quality, with no compression.

Evokly accepts the common photo formats (JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP) and standard video formats (MP4, MOV, WebM). Files are optimised automatically for fast display while the original high-definition version is kept.

Yes. On paid plans (Event, Pro, Enterprise) you can download the whole gallery in high definition from your dashboard. The free Discover plan allows downloading photo by photo.

Each guest can take a selfie from the event gallery after giving explicit consent. Our servers turn that selfie into a digital signature (a mathematical vector that cannot be turned back into an image) and compare it with the faces detected in the event photos, so every photo the guest appears in is found automatically.

Yes. Face matching requires each guest's explicit consent, recorded with a timestamp and the version of the notice, in line with the GDPR and the French CNIL's guidance. Selfies and digital signatures are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest, are never shared with third parties or used to train models, and are deleted automatically when the event expires.

AI face matching is available from the Event plan (€69 per event) upwards (Event Pro, Pro, Enterprise). It is not included in the free Discover plan.

With the Event plan you pay €69 only for each event you create — there is no monthly subscription. You get every premium feature (unlimited photos, AI face matching, custom branding, HD download) with six months of storage.

Yes, none of our plans lock you in. You can move from Discover to Event, Pro or Enterprise whenever you like. For monthly subscriptions you can cancel at any point and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Storage depends on your plan: 15 days on the free Discover plan, 6 months on Event, 12 months on Pro and 24 months on Enterprise. You can download all your photos before the storage period ends.

Every event gets a unique QR code you can print, show on a screen or send by email or message. When guests scan it with their phone they land straight in the event gallery and can add their photos and videos without creating an account.

No. Guests reach the event gallery by scanning the QR code or following a link. They can browse and contribute photos without signing up. Only the event organiser needs an Evokly account.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Our servers are hosted in ISO 27001-certified data centres in Europe. We are GDPR-compliant and provide tools to delete personal data at any time.

No, never. The photos and videos stored on our servers are never sold, passed to third parties, used for advertising or marketing, or used to train artificial-intelligence models. They exist solely to run the service for you, your event and your guests.

Only people who have the event's QR code or link can reach the gallery. The organiser controls access permissions and can make the gallery public or private. No event is publicly visible by default.

Yes. Under the GDPR you can request full deletion of your personal data, photos and account at any time. Face-matching data (selfie and digital signature) is deleted on request and, in all cases, automatically at the end of the event's storage period.
